Internships

Our internships are designed to give you valuable ministry experience, develop you personally, and provide a glimpse into the life of vocational ministry.

Year Long Internships

  • Year long internships are designed for college students or recent graduates who are interested pursuing a career in church ministry.

  • The intern program gives you practical experience in a focused ministry area with direct coaching and leadership from a Point staff member.

  • Interns are given focused leadership development as well as the opportunity to participate in staff professional development.

  • Internships run from January 1st-December 31st or June 1st-July 31st and are a 30 hour/week position.

Summer Internships

  • Summer internships are designed for high school seniors and college students who are interested in gaining practical ministry experience.

  • The intern program gives you practical experience in a focused ministry area with direct coaching and leadership from a Point staff member.

  • Interns will be a part of a focused leadership development group led by Point Staff.

  • Summer internships last from the first week of June to the first week of August and are 15 hour/week positions.

  • Summer internships are unpaid.

Internship Opportunities

  • KidsPoint – serving with the Kids Point Director in the creating and planning of our children’s experience and executing weekly children’s large and small groups

  • Worship Arts – serving with the Worship Arts Pastor in the planning and execution of Sunday worship, including worship band, lighting, audio/visual, cameras, and other creative elements, such as photography, video, and communications

  • Guest Services & Connections – serving with the Director of Ministries in leading our team of volunteers to ensure an excellent guest experience, evaluating our current connectivity, and aiding in the planning and execution of the assimilation process into Groups and Volunteering

  • StudentLife – serving with the Next Generation Pastor in the planning and executing of weekly gatherings and events for middle and high school students

  • Finance and Admin – serving with The Stewardship Pastor to learn the administrative functions of the church including working with support services volunteers, database management, budgeting process, and reporting for the purpose of evaluation and strategy
