Day 16 - SL 40 Days

Day 16:

1 Kings 19:12 (ESV): “And after the earthquake a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire the sound of a low whisper.”

Devotion:

God often speaks in a gentle whisper, not in the loud or dramatic. If we want to hear Him, we have to quiet the distractions around us. His voice may come as a prompting, a thought, or a conviction aligned with His Word. Spend time with Him today, and ask Him to tune your heart to recognize His voice more clearly.

Questions:

1. As God is speaking with a still small voice, what is He saying?
2. Ask God to reveal himself and whatever comes to your mind, spend time praying about whatever or whoever God has placed on your mind.
3. If you want to hear God more loudly, turn His word up in your life…Are you tuned into Him?
