The Intentional Life: Reach

Reaching Beyond Ourselves

REACHING BEYOND OURSELVES
Your story, your faithfulness, and your obedience are part of a much bigger mission God is unfolding across the world.
We believe reach begins with the individual — ordinary people courageously sharing what God has done in their lives. You don’t need all the answers to make an impact. Your testimony, your love, and your willingness to step into conversations, moments of crisis, or seasons of transition can bring hope to someone who desperately needs it. One life changed becomes a ripple that touches many more.
As God’s work grows, so does the call to expand beyond our city. Healthy believers, groups, and churches multiply, extending hope into new communities and strategic cities across our nation. Through training, leadership development, and church planting, we are committed to strengthening local communities while preparing future leaders to carry the mission forward across the country.
But the vision doesn’t stop at our borders. God’s heart is for every nation, every culture, and every people group. Through meaningful, ongoing partnerships around the world, we seek to meet spiritual and physical needs globally — bringing the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Reaching the world begins in everyday obedience, but it echoes into eternity.

Individual Reach
Individual Reach starts where you already are. Under the authority of Jesus, your current location isn't a mistake—your workplace, your classroom, your locker room, and your neighborhood are all discipleship opportunities. The difference between your day job and your real job is this: your day job earns an income, but your real job is making disciples in your going. Reach begins with the people God has already positioned in your everyday life, the ones you'd never have to drive anywhere to find. You don't have to engineer the moment; you simply live in the flow of what God is doing and stay ready to share what He's done for you.

Local Reach
Local Reach widens the circle to the neighborhoods, towns, and cities where you live. As you sense God's intentionality in your own life, you feel a growing responsibility for those closest to you—and that responsibility spills into your community. This is where The Point's Gospel-Centered Path Out of Poverty lives: mentorship in local schools, meeting practical needs in marginalized neighborhoods, serving as a hub that connects people to existing non-profits rather than duplicating efforts, and teaching entrepreneurship that breaks generational cycles of poverty. Reaching your locale means coming alongside what God is already doing with your prayers, your presence, and your resources.
Get involved in local Reach

God calls us to serve the poor and marginalized by meeting both physical and spiritual needs—because that's the Gospel, the same way Jesus went all in to seek and save us. Through mentorship, access points, a connecting hub, and entrepreneurship, we offer a Gospel-centered path that moves people from poverty toward lasting transformation.

National Reach
National Reach is built on a simple principle: healthy things multiply. Healthy disciples produce disciples, healthy groups produce groups, and healthy campuses produce campuses and churches. The vision is to reach 50 cities in 50 years through church planting, training planters and leaders who launch into strategic cities across the nation. The exciting part is that those future leaders are sitting in our seats right now—on staff, leading a volunteer team, or leading a small group for the first time—being prepared by God for the advancement of His Kingdom.

International Reach
International Reach is the same strategy carried to the ends of the earth. Any vision that doesn't include reaching the world is too small, because all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Jesus, and His heart is for the nations. The vision extends to 50 nations with ongoing, multiplying partnerships in our first 50 years—combining the same church planting and meeting of physical and spiritual needs that mark the local and national strategies, just in other nations. Reach begins in your everyday life and ultimately stretches to the ends of the earth.
