Spending Time With God Daily
Spending time with God daily is a cornerstone of living an intentional life. It means prioritizing moments each day to connect with Him through prayer, meditation, and reading scripture.
This daily rhythm helps foster a deeper relationship with God, aligning our hearts and minds with His will. It brings clarity, peace, and purpose to our lives, enabling us to navigate challenges with faith and resilience.
Embracing this habit can transform our spiritual journey, providing a solid foundation for all other aspects of life.
It is the Holy Spirit’s continued work in us to become more like Him. God is the one who does the work of making us more like Christ. We participate in that work by continually turning away from sin and demonstrating our faith in Christ by obeying God’s commands. We are called to always be responding to the ongoing work of God in our lives.

How do I pray?
To enhance your prayer time, use the ACTS framework: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication.
This structured approach can help you maintain a balanced and comprehensive prayer life.
Adoration
Begin with Adoration by praising God for His attributes and greatness.
Confession
Move to Confession, admitting your sins and seeking forgiveness.
Thanksgiving
Follow with Thanksgiving, expressing gratitude for God's blessings and grace in your life.
Supplication
Finally, conclude with Supplication, presenting your requests and the needs of others to God.

Where Do I Start?
Starting a daily habit of spending time with God requires a spiritual growth plan, which includes determining when you will have your quiet time, where you will do it, and what you will do.
Set aside a specific time each day, even if it's just 15-30 minutes, to create a consistent routine. Choose a quiet place free from distractions where you can focus and reflect. Plan your activities: begin with a passage of scripture, perhaps a Psalm or a Gospel, or one of the plans below. Meditate on its meaning and relevance to your life.
Combine your reading with a time of prayer (see below for a prayer guide), expressing gratitude, seeking guidance, and listening for God’s voice. This structured approach will help you build a sustainable and fulfilling habit of connecting with God daily.
