Day 17 - SL 40 Days
Day 17:
Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
Devotion:
Trusting God fully means releasing control and surrendering what we cannot figure out. Often, we lean on our own understanding instead of placing things at His feet. But God invites us to trust Him completely, even when it doesn’t make sense. Ask Him what it looks like to live as an offering to Him today, and take a step toward deeper trust.
Questions:
- What would it look like if you trust in the Lord with all your heart?
- Is there something you need to lay down at the feet of God?
- Pray that you would not live a life according to your will, but that you may live a life that is an offering to Him. What offering does he want from you today?
- How can you understand God on a deeper level?
