Day 2 - SL 40 Days

Day 2:

‍Romans 12:2: Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Devotion:

Paul tells us to be “transformed by the renewing of your minds.” This is a higher calling by Paul in which he is insinuating that spiritual growth is heavily reliant on the mind.

Questions:

1. Have you ever considered that faith and intellect may have a positive correlation or any correlation at all for that matter?
2. Have you always viewed faith as purely a matter of the heart? Do you see the value in loving God not just with your heart, but with your mind as well?
3. How has learning about the reliability of the Bible helped you in your faith?
4. Pray and ask God to show you one specific area where He wants the gospel to grow in you this week. Sit quietly for a minute and see what comes to mind.
