Day 31 - SL 40 Days

Day 31:

Matthew 13:18–19: "When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart."

Devotion and Reflection:

1. The Thought: Studying for a test but leaving the paper blank is a waste of effort. Hearing God’s Word without trying to understand it leaves our hearts "open" for the enemy to steal the truth before it ever sticks.
2. Response: Think about the last sermon or Bible verse you heard. Did you actually think about what it meant, or did you let it "bounce off"?
3. Application: Ask God today: "Lord, give me a heart that wants to understand. Don’t let the distractions of today snatch away your truth."
