Day 32:
Matthew 13:20–21: "The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. But since they have no root, they last only a short time."
Devotion and Reflection:
- The Thought: It’s easy to get "hyped" at a youth event, but "hype" isn't a root. Roots grow in the quiet, daily moments when we choose to trust God even when we don't "feel" the excitement.
- Response: What is one "rock" in your life (a habit, a doubt, or a busy schedule) that is keeping your spiritual roots from going deeper?
- Application: To grow roots, you need consistency. Pick a specific time and place (like right after breakfast or before bed) where you will read one verse every day this week.
