Devotional
Following Jesus means you are not the same person you used to be. Jesus gives you a new identity and a new purpose. You were saved from sin, guilt, and being separated from God. But you were also saved for something:
- To know God.
- To love others.
- To serve people.
- To share Jesus.
- To bring glory to Him.
Your life matters because God has a plan for you. You don't have to wonder, "Does my life count?" When you live for Jesus, your life already has purpose.

Prayer
God, thank you for giving me a new life through Jesus. Help me remember that I have a purpose because I belong to you. Use my words, my actions, and my choices to point others to you. Amen.
