When Jesus came to earth, He didn't stay far away from people. He entered our world. He walked with people, listened to them, cared for them, and spent time with them. Even people who were ignored, rejected, or misunderstood mattered to Jesus.
Sometimes it's easier to avoid people we don't understand or don't get along with. We might ignore someone at school, avoid a conversation, or stick only with people who are like us.
But Jesus shows us a different way. Loving people often begins with simply showing up. Sitting with someone at lunch, saying hello, or asking how they're doing can make a bigger difference than you realize.
Following Jesus means noticing the people others overlook.

Prayer
Jesus, thank you for coming close to us. Help me notice people who feel left out and give me the courage to show them your love. Amen.
