Think about riding a bicycle. It needs two wheels to work. If one wheel is missing, you won't get very far. Following Jesus is the same way.
If we only have grace, we may avoid hard conversations and never help others grow. If we only have the truth, we can become harsh and push people away.
Jesus showed both perfectly. He loved people deeply while also pointing them toward God's truth.
Ask yourself before speaking:
Is it true?
Is it kind?
If the answer to both questions is yes, you're much more likely to reflect Jesus.

Lord, help me become more like Jesus by showing both grace and truth in the way I treat others. Amen.
