Doing good things feels great, but Jesus reminds us that our goal isn't for people to think we're amazing. Our goal is for people to notice something different about us and realize that difference comes from Jesus.
Imagine helping your teacher clean up after class, encouraging someone who's struggling, or doing chores at home without being asked. Those simple acts of kindness can lead people to see God's love.
The best influence points people away from ourselves and toward Jesus. Ask yourself today: "Will what I'm about to do make people notice me, or notice Jesus?"
