40 Days - Week 3

Questions:

1. Have you ever looked for something and it was right in front of you the whole time? It’s even worse when you ask for help, and they find it immediately!
2. What does the Holy Spirit do, and how does He help us when we read the Bible?
3. Has there ever been a moment when you felt like God was directing your path?
4. What makes it hard to focus when you're reading the Bible?
5. What would it look like for our family to ask for God's help before we read the Bible together?

Try It Together: Read Psalm 119:18 together, "Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law." Have one person pray it as a simple prayer asking God to help your family understand what He wants you to see. Then read a short passage together and ask everyone: what's one thing you noticed? Try making this your family's quick prayer before reading the Bible from here on out.
