Local Reach at The Point is our call to step beyond ourselves and into the lives of those around us—sharing the love of Christ as we serve and connect in our community. Right now, our full focus is behind the Gospel-Centered Path Out of Poverty initiative—combining practical support with gospel-centered programs to help individuals and families break free from financial hardship.
This vision began with a simple but powerful question from Pastor Gabe:
“What if 100% of our church focused on addressing one issue in our community?”
We believe that focus is poverty—and we’re all in.
Local Reach includes:
Partnering with organizations already meeting real needs
Serving weekly in local neighborhoods
Leading and growing Gospel-Centered Path Out of Poverty programs
Gospel-Centered Path Out of Poverty
Local Reach is actively focused on the Gospel-Centered Path Out of Poverty initiative—equipping individuals and families with practical tools and gospel-centered support. Through The Academy, Access Point, Pathway Mentorship, and our community resource center, The Hub, we're seeing real impact take shape. Find the latest updates and get involved here.
The Hub is a community resource center where individuals and families can access housing support, healthcare, job assistance, and more. It’s a place for help and renewed hope.
Empowering entrepreneurs in under-resourced communities. The Academy equips participants with gospel-rooted business tools to create lasting financial change and community growth.
One-on-one, gospel-centered mentoring for kids and youth. Through meaningful relationships, mentors help students build character and purpose that lasts.
Access Point is your on-ramp to serving—offering flexible opportunities and Local Reach groups that make a difference in our community each week.
